This month, we’re spotlighting the Alamo Ranch area of San Antonio, Texas. This week, we’ll be exploring some of the dining and entertainment options available in this Northwest suburb.
Looking for Thai food? Yum Thai is beloved for its Red Curry, Shrimp Fried Rice and Pad Thai, as well as Custard Sticky Rice and Bubble Tea for dessert. Try Yum Thai and your tummy will be saying yum!
If you’re in more of a beer and burger mood, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse serves up delicious food with generous portions, plus their own variety of brews. Kids are also welcome here, so it’s a great place to enjoy tasty beer and a meal with your family.
Running short on time and need to drive through to get your food? There are a variety of fast food restaurants in the area, including Arby’s and Burger King. For quick, healthy food worth getting out of the car for, Freebirds is also here serving up their huge made-to-order burritos.
For entertainment, you can wear the kids out at Pee Wee Bees, while you relax and watch them play. This indoor play palace has bounce houses for older kids and lots of toys for toddlers and even babies! There are also refreshments available for purchase or you can bring your own so you can make a day of it.
For entertainment oriented more towards grown-ups, The 54th Street Bar and Grill boasts a huge menu of both food and drinks, and is great for large parties. It’s popular as a destination for friends or an after work happy hour. Cheers!
