San Antonio Renters Catch A Break

San Antonio experienced one of the most active multi-family markets last year. With the local market still trying to absorb the 7,300 new units from last year, apartment dwellers are finally seeing a much-needed break from the rising rent rates.

According to Zumper, rent slipped by 4% in the Alamo City dropping the rent rate for a one-bedroom to $860 per month. The rental market in San Antonio remains affordable and the Alamo City remains as one of the top four Texas metros without a four-figure average.

With only 4,200 units scheduled for completion in 2017, the market is predicted to bounce back.
